Approve Uploaded Documents
The Omnistar Document Management Software document upload solution includes a number of features to provide your system with security. One of these features is the ability to require certain users' submitted documents be approved by trusted users called reviewers and administrators. This allows you to be sure all the documents in your system are safe and secure.

Step 1: Upload a Document
As a user, go to the documents page and select Add Document. You will be taken to the upload screen, where you can choose a folder, upload a file, and enter a description. Any file uploaded by users marked as requiring review will have to be reviewed by an admin or reviewer. |
Step 2: Review It
If you log in as an administrator or reviewer and go to the folder where the file was downloaded, you will see the file is marked as requiring a review. To view the file, click review, and you will see a list of files requiring review. Select a file and all of its pertinent information will be displayed, allowing you to view its description and download it. |
Step 3: Approve or Deny the file
After viewing the file you have the option of adding additional notes and either approving or denying the file, simply click the approve or deny buttons. From here, you can return to the folder where the file is stored, and you will notice it is no longer marked as requiring review. |
